Liver cake has to be one of the top rated treats by dogs and it’s pretty quick cheap and easy to make…The only downside is the smell.
Our top tip for avoiding the smell is to use a pyramid mould to bake it in so that it cooks quickly and you can get rid of the smell ASAP!
Ingredients and Method
Start by placing one pack (approx 400g) of liver in blender or food processor.
Add two broken eggs and blend.
Pour liver mixture into 200g of self raising flour and stir well.
Spread into mould and bake in 160 degree fan over for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Allow to cool and tip out.
If necessary break up.
Can be stored in fridge for 5 days or freezer for 6 months.
