As the odd treat there is nothing in a pancake that will do your dog any harm and if you are going for the ‘standard’ version you can try adding some super tasty and healthy toppings for them!

Top fillings you could include (choose one or go for a combo of ingredients):
Berries and fruit, peanut butter, yoghurt, cottage cheese, grated cheese, ham, grated apple, banana, love it or hate it marmite, chopped veg like pepper, cucumber and carrot, chopped spinach leaves (mixed in with some cottage cheese would great), chopped pear

Try one of these recipes:
Carrot & Chickpea Pancake
- 100g tinned chickpeas
- 2 x medium eggs
- 1/2 a small carrot (grated)
- 100g self-raising flour
- 150ml oat milk
- A little oil for cooking
Place all ingredients into food processor or nutri-bullet and whiz until blended. Heat oil in non stick pan a dob tablespoons of batter into the pan leaving a gap between each one. Fry pancakes for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Banana & Coconut pancake
- 2 x bananas
- 2 x medium eggs
- 1 x dash of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. coconut flour
- A little coconut oil for cooking
Mash banana and mix in all other ingredients. Allow to stand for a couple of minutes before heating oil in none stick pan and frying spoonfuls of pancake mixture on each side.
